blood clots as big as a quarter with each period

what am i supposed to do ? i am to have a leak proceedure done for cancer but they wont do it because i am bleeding and clottind 7 to 10 days at a time and they schedule the proceedure at the time i start my period each time i try to tell them that! they dont listen to me!

Who is doing the scheduling? The doctor, his assistant or the hospital/surgical clinic? The next time they try to schedule it and you know that is a bad date, tell them no. You tell them when will be a good time and be firm. Take someone with you for moral support.

If they will not work with you, write a letter of complaint to the hospital/surgical clinic director. I have no problem writing a letter to complain about a problem. As long as you keep quiet, they will assume they are doing everything right. Sometimes you need to work from the top down to get things done.
