bleeding after menopause

I stopped having periods at age 34.
At age 59 I had 10 days of heavy bleeding. I went to the emergency room when the bleeding started. Test showed high levels of pregnancy hormones. A dnc was preformed and no cancer was found. No one can tell me the reason for the bleeding or high levels of pregancy hormones. Does anyone have any thoughts on this matter. Thanks
