My daughter is an adult, 24 yrs old, but being her Mom, I am very concerned and have been for a very long time. My daughter has maybe had, 3-4 periods.Ever... I continue to ask her to please get into the Doctor. Approx. 6 years ago, she went in, was put on a medication, she would go in x2 monthly to have BP checked, because the medication causes high BP. She was on it for a while, I beleive she did have "a period" perhaps once on this medication, however she was on it for 5-6 months. I really don't know why she will not go in, I think she is afraid? scared? of the possibilties of what is/could be wrong. Fear of the unknown?? It creates tension when I bring up getting to the Dr. which I would do daily if I could get her to make an appointment...Help please, anyone...

Is it a weight issue? I lost my period at 20 due to anorexia. I now take BCP's to make my cycles regular. Would she do that?
