I am 8 weeks post partum and got my first period yesterday and I am
TERRIFIED. I am practically gushing,I have gone through 10 super plus tampons and 11 or so overnight pads in the last 24 hours. I have been to the doctor and the emergency room today, blood count is at 11.5 which is just slightly low. I have had six children and NEVER experienced anything like this and I am feeling genuinly scared. I can feel it "running" out when I walk or when I sit down and enough is coming out when I go to the restroom it sounds like I am peeing.I have bled through to my clothes 3 times since this started yesterday. There have been clots and sludge like blood, but mostly like water. Both doctors today have said to keep a watchful eye on it but not to be worried, but I am having a freakin panic attack over this. I am not cramping at all,I feel really run down but not dizzy or faint. My vitals are pretty normal, just a tad bit lower than what I usually run. I know to expect a pretty heavy first cycle, but this is scary. If this is not too much blood, then what is? What should signal me to something being wrong if this is considered "normal"? I have a follow up appointment on Monday,in four days. I just feel likeI will be okay that long.
