Irregular Period

I recently ended my period and about 7-10 days later, I started bleeding again that has seemingly progressed into a period again. I'm also having cramps, so it seems like period # 2 for this month. A couple side notes, when the bleeding started, I had an intestinal bug and I just finished what could be classified as a stressful work week. My husband and I are trying to have a baby but my periods have been some what irregular since I stop birth control in March 2011 so I have been taking Fertilaid. Basically a vitamin that's suppose to regulate your periods.

This is the only time this has happened to me. Is this something to get be concerned about? I hate to make an appt. with my ob/gyn and take up her time if it's a relatively normal thing. Any opinions? Thanks.
