Some people have higher than normal sensitive skin and medications will cause redness and irritation. The best advice I would give is try using more acne home remedies which can show little to no side effects. I will list the top 3 which have worked very well for me and may do the same for you, however please remember that when it comes to skin care sometimes it take more than a few days to heal specific conditions.
1. Baking Soda And Water: Just use a tea-spoon of baking soda and than add very little water until it forms a thick paste. Please use this paste all over your skin on your face and leave it for 25-30 minutes. This process will soak up the oil in the skin which will accelerate the healing process.
2. Lemon And Egg: Squeeze one lemon into a bowl and crack 1 egg and mix together. Use this as a face mask. This helps with fade marks especially for those that suffer from sensitive skin.
3. Oatmeal Face Mask: 1 scoop of oatmeal, 1 tea-spoon of baking soda and water. This will form into something which is like a thick paste. Apply to skin and leave for 30 minutes. Great for people who have severe acne and will help with inflammation.
There are some natural cleansers which are available and these are a full kit. They include all of the above and can really help cure your acne problem. The exposed line of products has been great and I've used it for several months. You can view the products and read the Exposed Acne Treatment Review .
