Avoid rubbing alcohol or alcohol-based astringents and toners, even if you have oily skin. This can irritate skin and make acne worse.

I would avoid drinking alcohol too. I always have bad acnes after a night of excessive drinking.

I agree...I develop a rash and manage it with any anti-histamine, like 'claritin' ..
