On top of being so busy it's sure hot and humid! Even when we have some rain everyday it gets too humid. I and family have been working to get my parents house ready to sell. We started painting last weekend and are packing up everything we can donate. We took my brother out to eat for his birthday too so glad we were all together for that. I have been getting our yearly recertification training at work too. Yesterday was a 9 hour day!

I and my daughter are getting ready for our trip next week. I have my list so I don't forget anything .....but we usually do! My son will be feeding the cats, maybe I can get him to do some more yardwork too while we're gone! It's good to get away to a different place for a while to recharge.

    take care, Linda

Hi...Its been hot hear in the Mid Atlantic also. I got a new laptop so I've been trying to get it all set up. I can't believe how quickly the summer is going. We don't go to the beach until the last week of August, so I have about 3 more weeks to go.

    Take care

Linda, I hope you have a good time when you're away! Are you going far?

It's been very hot and humid here in NY and the air conditioning is running non-stop. I'm so glad we have it in these 90 degree temperatures.

    Have a good weekend!

We planned a trip to Atlanta-about 51/2 hour drive. Something different every day.....botanical gardens, zoo, aquarium, Braves game.....
We leave on my birthday so after we get there I found a restaurant to have dinner.

Sometimes when I wake up at night I listen to see if the air is ever going to turn off! When I left work today I felt the sun hit me when i walked out the door! HOT! Going to try to go to dinner with a friend from work tomorrow, we have a great chinese place we like. I used to work with her at the house so we catch up.

I guess you could burn easily at the beach on these days!

    Have a good weekend, Linda

I hope you have a wonderful vacation Linda. Atlanta is beautiful. I used to travel there on business with my company. Hopefully the heat wont be too bad.

Linda - I know what you mean about the A/C going non stop. I hate to see what our electric bill is going to be.

    Have a great weekend also.

Remember the days we were complaining it was getting too cold?! Those days will be here soon! lol I've been thinking about how hot it might be in Atlanta next week, I ordered a refridge for the hotel, they say we'll have one if it's abailable then. But, we'll have an ice chest so maybe just use their ice in it. They seem to have everything else....don't know why they don't just have fridge in all the rooms! It's not like they have a pool-they don't. That would have been nice in the evening. Oh well, I'll have laptop so will keep in touch.

The camera my daughter gave me when she got a new digital started acting up and not working correctly so I just went and got a new one. A kodak easyshare. Looks nice. I would have ordered a different color but it would take a week so the grey looks good! Now have to learn about it!!

Glad I got more allergy pills.....the boys are back! My son and his son trimming in the yard.

I hate to say it but I'm really looking forward to the cold weather! I much prefer the cold over all the heat and humidity we've had this summer so far. My favorite time for walking is when it's cold out. I know not too many people prefer the cold but I'm ready for it.

Linda, have a great time in Atlanta next week!

    leo568 replied to rustler66's response:
    Hey Lois!

Know more about that camera...been practicing on my cats! I can take videos too! I'll find out what to do to up load it and send you guys something next week!

    take care, Linda

Thanks Lois! I just handed my house keys over to my son. We better go now!! lol

Had an exciting last day at work! One of the new individuals just can't stay sitting down! He always wants to look at the window and door to see who's coming and going. Gonna have to break him of that! Already made a suggestion to one of the behavior anylists for a program for him.
