Can MRI detect ADD/ADHD?

Hello,

I just received MRI results. I received the MRI as a participant in a medical study for anxiety. The results concluded I have a "normal," brain but noted a single focus of T2/Flair hyper intense signal in the right inferior frontal white matter. I understand that the right inferior frontal gyrus controls inhibition and attention. I was diagnosed with ADD at 23. Is the hypersensitive signal an indicator of an attention disorder or something else? I also read hyper intense signals are symptomatic of bipolar disorder and depression. My father and grandfather both have bipolar disorder. I'm a bit worried by my results so any info is appreciated. Thanks.
