Well it looks like this group was deleted when they switched to the new format. So I thought I would revive it. I know it wasn't the most active board before but I think it deserves to stick around a while longer!

I'll reintroduce myself. I'm K- adoptive Mommy to S. My DH is N. We were blessed with our daughter in 2008 through open domestic adoption. I'd be happy to answer any questions about the process of adoption, how we chose which route to take in adoption and our choice to have an open adoption. And pretty much any other questions you may have along the way.

I'd love to meet other adoptive parents and gain support and knowledge from others who have done this longer than we have!

Hi K

Thanks for starting this up again. I was just asking about this board. I hope that the previous posters find their way here soon.

My husband and I are in limbo right now as we decide once and for all what we are going to do to build our family. We are currently researching different agencies in our area and the local foster to adopt program. We are also still considering treatments so we are just "looking" right now but I value the insight that you and the other posters provided while I lurked before.

Hey Deb! I'm not on much anymore because it's just so darn difficult to find my way around here. But you can always find me on my blog which also has my email in the profile and I'm always happy to answer questions or send support through email to. www.surprisedbyhope.blogspot.com
