Every time I eat something with Nutmeg in it my throat swells and I feel really tired. Does anyone know of remedies to help counteract the reaction?

You need to avoid nutmeg. Throat swelling is a sign of a serious alergic reaction. You should discus this with your doctor who may want you to carry an epi-pen for accidental exposure. Some people do take liquid benadryl with this type of reaction and call the ER for advice. If it isn't too bad this should control the reaction, but if you ever have difficulty breathing GO TO an ER immediately.
