Vasomotor Rhinitis

Yesterday, I was exposed to smoke at work. When I am exposed to smoke, any type, I start coughing and sneezing and my throat gets tight. I also have a very hard time breathing like someone is sitting on my chest. I get headaches and dizzy. I just found out about vasomotor rhinitis. Can Vasomotor rhinitis cause all of these things or is something else going on? I do not have asthma.

Having dealt with VR for years, it's never effected my throat in any way or caused coughing, headaches or dizziness. It's all sneezing, stuffiness, runny nose...Smoke can definitely set it off though. Not sure how unique it is for every person, but changes in temperature really sets mine off.
