Has anyone ever heard about having long eye lashes and having allergies? I have never heard of this before and wonder if it's actually true or if it is an old wife's take Thanks

Hi mmiller!

How interesting! No, I have never heard of this before and couldn't find any information on our site. Please ask your doctor and keep us posted.

Thanks!

HI, interesting you should mention that, I was just at the eye doc and he mentioned that eyelashes can collect allergic dust or particles. He mentioned to wash my eye lids and lashes (keeping your eyes closed) with a mild soapy solution like baby soap. I have severe allergies in the spring and while it may not eliminate the issue, he suggested that there could be some relief and possible shorten the season or make it more tolerable. There may be some truth to the recommendation, now hearing it from more than one place, Will see what happens.
