After being out in the sun for over a half hour my 2 year old granddaughter gets very sick and runs a fever for several hours. She is very light skinned and we always put the highest sunblock on her. Can someone please explain this to me and what can be done for her.

My son is the same but he doesn't get like your grand daughter my son can go out for like an half hour and he will come back in looking like he was out in the sun for hours and then later on he will start to get blisters all over his face and than after that his whole face will be covered in them. I took him to a skin doctor and they told us my son was allergy to sun. I would see about getting her to see a skin doctor for it
