Allergic to Honey

I became nauseous after eating honey today. This has happened a couple of times in the past few years. I have eaten honey many times before without any reactions. I initially thought there was a preservative in the honey that I was allergic to and this last time bought a brand that advertised itself as organic. So now I'm at a loss, can you gain an allergy years after no reaction?

am wondering if it isn't honey you are allergic to, but the contaminates in the honey. I found an article I read before about if honey helps with your allergies and it talks about the pollens and things that can be in the honey.

Are you allergic to any grass or trees? it could be that what you are allergic too has made its way into the honey. Hope this helps.
