Need some advice on x-rays

My husband has this problem of constant phlegm and need to clear his throat. He also has gastric issues - can't stay hungry for too long and sometimes has bad burping and so on. He's been to docs - though not many - he gave up after a point refusing to spend more time of the whole thing. Nothing has been properly diagnosed or treated.

I want to know if x-rays show up the presence of GERD or PND. It is more likely to be Reflux/GERD because he has related gastric issues. His phlegm gets worse in mornings and nights. He hates curd and sometimes milk. Loves coffee with milk. And doesn't eat ice-cream. He doesn't like to take meds so much so home remedies are what I am looking for. He gets very exhausted and it has been affecting his work lately.

If anyone can help I'd be really grateful! And, I too am glad there are other people who know of this thing. My husband is so disheartened he is not even trying to find a cure anymore. (He's 30 and otherwise healthy. Has had this problem for 7-8 yrs now.)
