Hi,

What life style changes has he implemented? Those can go a LONG way in controlling allergies.

Also, has he been evaluated fro GERD. It can cause the same symptoms.

Some suggetions for life style changes are the following:
  1. Washing bedding in HOT water at least weekly.
  2. Showering before going to bed and when coming in from outside.
  3. Keep pets out of the bedroom.
  4. Sinus rinses.
Has he tried nasal steroid sprays. They are very effective.

Lastly, it may be time for allergy testing and immunotherapy allergy shots. Be sure to get immuntherapy shots. Some doctors use steroid shot to control allergies. While they are effective, they are very dangerous drugs and should only be used for life threatening situations.

Keep us posted on how he is doing.
