Propylene Glycol Allergy
lovespringtime posted:
Hi all,

I just found out recently that I am also allergic to propylene glycol! I had a quick question... if I am allergic to PG and my husband uses products that contains PG, will I somehow react to it? I'm not sure if he should also be on a PG free like I am!

fystemex responded:
I have a PPG allergy and have changed all of my products to PPG free products. My husband has continued to use his products because they are cheaper and it has not affected me in any way unless the product is still wet. Be careful with food too. PPG is in foods and has given me excruciating abdominal pain and diarrhea.
mavy1227 replied to fystemex's response:
I also have this allergy. I feel so frustrated - I started a support group on Facebook called Proplyene Glycol Support Group - a place to share knowledge, recipes and support. If you're interested please join.
kkuzak responded:
I have trouble with PG fumes and cross-contamination and transfer, so I make my husband be PG-free also.
