Hi Guys, I am having a severe allergic reaction to something and need your help. I am a 29yr old male currently living in Shanghai for work and over the last weekend went out into the bush for laser tag with a group of people. Wore jeans and a t-shirt and spent about 2 hours in the bush, there were little bugs, some ants, and the usual itch here and there from being pricked by leaves and foliage. After returning home that evening, there was a continuous itch on my lower right abdomen with some bumps. I thought the bumps were from me scratching it so thought nothing of it. The next morning I woke up to a HUGE area of itchy red bumpy rash on the right side of my body as well as along the underside of my entire right arm. Hundreds of little itchy red bumps. I immediately went to the ER and was told that it was an allergic reaction to something in the forest, given a steroid shot and some Clarityne + itch cream. I've always had allergies during spring with typical running nose and tears but never anything close like this. As the next day came, new itchy bumps would appear on my body like my left arm, back, shoulder, and now my face as if the rash was spreading apart from the area it started. Almost like chickenpox except the bumps would not break and eventually flatten itself within a day or 2 while remaining red. There seems to be a little fluid in the bumps but would never break. There was a hairy orange caterpillar on my shirt in the area where my bumpy rash started, could of possibly been poisonous?
