    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Had 3 operations for polyps and swelling...nothing...used pulmacort to rinse out my nose.....nothing Then my doctor had me use 2 respules of pulmacort with a solution of distilled water, sea salt sand baking soda. I take a syrange and fill it 3 times with the water solution and heat it in the microwave for 11 seconds and then put in the two respules of pulmacort. What I do differtent is lay on my bed with my head hanging down and put 1 1/2 syranges of the mixed solution in each nostral. You will need a paper towel. After a few minutes I put a paper towel on my nose to prevent leaking when I rise up and go to the sink and blow out of my nose. Most of the solution comes out but you will find when you lay down or tilt your head down some more will exit your nose. SINCE I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS MY TASTE AND SMELL HAS COME BACK....JUST WANT TO PASS THIS ALONG BECAUSE NOT TASTING AND SMELLING IS A REAL BUMMER1

This is wonderful news. I will pass it on to some friends of mine.

Please keep us updated on how things are going.

Also, if your polyps return again, ask your doctor about Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease. Recurring sinus polyps is a major symptom.

    Have a blessed day.
