Before I ever thought I would ever be a mom, the name Lawrence Andreas came to me while DB and I were dating. Lawrence b/c DB wants all his kids to have names that start with L, and I vetoed having a Jr. as well as the "hood" names he had like Latrell and Ladanian. I liked Langston or Landon, but he said those names sounded like he would be destined to get beat up a lot so Lawrence is the only one we could agree on (just don't EVER call him Larry!). Andreas is DB's little brother's middle name and I just love it. Such a beautiful name, and it sounds great with Lawrence. Now we have Lawrence Andreas, or mka (mommy known as) Lo or Dre for short. The name Lawrence is a little heavy for a child, but sounds very nice with Dr. or The honorary judge in front of it.
I had always thought Dre was was his first name (and BTW, Dr sounds pretty good in front og it too LOL)
I really like the name and I really like his Nicknames,
I was kidding when I texted DH the name Magnus a few minutes ago and he was like "as in the hamburger?" and I had to think and be like "NO.......thats ANGUS"
Several people don't realize Dre isn't his first name, it's cool. I call him Lawrence when he's into something and I want his attention and Dre when it's cuddle time. I was at a friend's grad party with her family and they were like, "Sooo is his name Dre or Lawrence?"
Really with the Dr. Dre jokes? "It's like this and like that and like this and ah...."
Hey me and DR. DRE go waaaaay back LOL
DD is named Juliana because it is my maternal grandmother's middle name in honor of her father Julius (who died when Austria was invaded in WWII). She and I have been super-close my whole life plus I think the name is beautiful. AND DH and I could agree on it.
I REALLY wanted her middle name to be Emsley because it means "Gift from God" after our infertility struggles but DH absolutely hated it so I agreed to compromise since her first name was after my side of the family we made her middle name Marie because DH's mother's middle name is Marie.
If we have a son his name will most likely be Benjamin Scott because we love the name Benjamin and Scott is family name on DH's side.

Amaya La'shea- Her dad's name is Anthony Lamar and his lastname starts with a L...so I wanted to keep the initals the same...both our first child and she couldnt be a junior. Amaya was this chicks name on that show " Real World" On Mtv. It was pretty, unique ,had a "y" which is exotic to me and started with and "A"....Shea is my lil sis middle name ,I stuck the "La in front of it....and that was that...
Shyan La'nae- I had no name what so ever for her and her father (Anthony)picked the name Cheyanne....I liked the name but hated the spelling...plus it was common in our crowd of friends....we agreed her name would be "Cheyanne" but id get to spell it weird ...I came up with this cause...It also held a "y" and was 5 letters....like her big sister....her grandmother on his side name is Elnora....I mixed that with my moms middle name which was "Lynn" and came out somehow this while throwing around alot of different things...again added the "La" to keep the initals playing a role..
Camrin Anthony...- We werent together when he was born, I didnt want a junior ,so I opted to give him his middle name instead...was originally going to spell it Camryn..to keep the "y's" going but I heard or read of a lil girl who's name was Camryn and that turned me off of the "y" part...it reminded me of a girly name...so I put "i" to look unique as possible...of course now I wish I stuck with the "y" but I digress!..lol
and that is that ..no more for me...unless I get blessed somehow....(tubes tied-kinda regret)
DIDnt you see the episode the other night on "i didnt know I was preg? Tubes tied and got KU
I LOVED the name Amaya too I am a "real world" whore, well not so much the past couple seasons, but I still watch the Gauntlets and stuff
Honestly, with DD2 and DS2, I just picked some names that I liked and DH liked and he let me choose after we'd narrowed it down.
