But other than that things have been ok, Dh quit being mean lol and the kids have calmed down some but my hormones are going wacky and I keep snapping on DH....poor him! Yesterday my oven blew up my lasagna pan! I never saw anything like it. the glass just shattered everywhere in the oven. My dinner luckily was not ruined(except the potatoes did not make it lol) We need a new stove but can't afford it right now, so we will have to cook with our hard hats on lol.
Glad to hear things are better on the home front with DH and the kids and that is cool ur friend is preggo too!
. I will have to buy a new pan soon.DH does not do Ricatta cheese, so we make it with Mozz and Chedder with italian Sausage
I was making scalloped potatoes and this was my mom's pan , her fav baking pan...I jsut touched it and it said "peww"...and collasped. It damn near brought a tear to my eye...awww....i digress...
If the glass has even the smallest scratch thats deep enough, the heat gets in and expands it and that makes it burst....hell cleaning out of the oven....ugh....
And my wonderful SO left my really new big glass baking pan (that I *ahem inherited..lol...after my mom died..when people brought food, I fell in love with the dish and kept it, bad I know, but the person didnt ask for it back) at his aunts house, so now she has inherited it, I dont think I can get it back and Im always forgetting.....darn it!!
Sorry about your pan blowing up, that totally stinks!!! I love Pyrex! I got my pans 6 years ago for wedding gifts and they are still going strong.
Lyndee...EWWWW on the frozen lasagna (AND the fake cheese!) My DH bought the all-skim ricotta cheese once (I use whole or part-skim) and I used it anyway to give it a try. It was awful! I didn't think I would notice a difference but I totally did. I'm Italian though so I am picky about my cooking ingredients, especially for Italian dishes...
I've been in a little bit of a funk for the past day or so. I went off BCP last month and even though I know it is highly unlikely to just "happen" for us I really was a little more hopeful than I thought that we might get PG, especially since if I had O'd it would have been around our anniversary and that would have been nice. I didn't get AF so I took a test yesterday and got a BFN. Not surprised but still a little disappointed.

DH worked this weekend (7p-7a) so he slept during the days and I spent all my time with DD. We went to the pool on Saturday and while we were swimming I learned she has a new name for me. Her name is Juliana so she is now calling me...Juli-MAMA! I think it is hilarious.
That's about it. Happy Wednesday everyone!
I hear ya about the funk, I was mildy disappointed and then DH and I talked and it was all good, I really trying not to stress but it seems like EVERYONE is like, "whoa tuna and pickles sandwhich, what are you PG?" or "hey how ya doing? you KU yet?" I know they all mean well and I am glad people ask because it means they care, so take the good with the "bad" I guess LOL
. Kobie is always coming up with funny names for me too lol. He really likes to call me Silly mama.More from WebMD related to this Discussion
