I have been on Effexor XR 275mg per day for 6 years. I recently completed my taper period, which was 3 weeks in duration. The brain swooshes have been present the entire time. One effect that I have experienced is a very sharp, acute pain in the intercostal area of the ribs. The pain moves from lateral to sagital, usually in 1 month increments. My doctor has advised me that this should subside once the medicine has fully evaucated from my syetem. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this symptom.
