    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

Sorry to hear you are in so much pain. I broke mine when I was 10, fell out of a tree unto the root, it hurt like hell for weeks. When I was 14, I dont know what I did but the pain came back, I could barely walk. I got xrays to find out it was broken into little pieces. I had surgery to remove it. Im now 50, I still have pain once in a while, cant sit for very long periods of time but its not as bad as it was.

Try advil or sit on a tube to keep the pressure off the area.

I'm not an MD but I do know that there doesn't appear to be a specific treatment for this break in what is the tailbone of our spine. Ask your doc.
