    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Withdrawl from Effexor XR

I have been on Effexor XR for 10 years. I am recently working with my MD to reduce this amount to get off completely. I was taking 225mg per day. I have reduced one third (75mg) 3 weeks ago. I have experienced the worst time. I sleep for hours and hours, feel crappy, have had the runs, stomach pains, strange appetite. Yet, mentally somewhat clearer. I am curious if others have experienced this sleeping issue.

This has been a subject of many, many posts on this exchange and you will find that the members have experienced the same symptoms as you when they tried to withdraw from this med.

I'm sure you will be hearing from others and you can also look in the Popular Discussions list on the right where the first post is on this med.
