how long does it take
srball posted:
does anyone know how long the side effects of withdrawl last?
Patricia Farrell, PhD responded:
It really depends on a number of factors; the medication, your body's ability to metabolize it, whether or not the medication is stored in your body fat or bone and even unknown factors.

Depending on the medication, it may be weeks or even months before all of the withdrawal is over. I don't mean to be pessimistic, but I do think you need to have a realistic idea about how long this might persist.

Please ask whoever is providing the medication to you to also give you some idea about the length of the withdrawal.
