odd symptoms
An_251811 posted:
Back in november of this year, I started showing symptoms of seasonal affective disorder which have remained pretty much consistent with a few anxiety issues here and there. Recently, about a week or less, I've been exibiting panic disorder symptoms. I've had anxiety/panic attacks before, but I have a whole new list of symptoms from the ones I've had before; fear of death, feeling like something is "off", this buzz in my head that makes me really irritable, fear that something worse is wrong with me, a thousand terrible emotions rushing through me all at once, feeling like I'm being tossed around by waves or a storm, twitching of my right arm (which was a symptom of my anxiety attacks before. however, now my arm is twitching throughout the day and not just the minutes before i have an anxiety attack), heavy breathing (deep but fast), a quickened heartbeat, and chills sometimes (it feels like there are ice packs on my arm and a tingle in my spine. sometimes but not always). What's wrong with me?

I have almost the same exact symptoms. I just got on this website to see if my symptoms are related to any diseases. It's scary. Hope we can find out what's going on so we can have peace of mind. Take care.

Hey, An_251811. I'm sorry to hear of your struggles. You are asking "what's wrong?", and, of course, I can't say through what you have shared here. Sounds like it's time for a visit to your physician to get checked out, with all these new sensations. But if you are having panic attacks, and if you have panic disorder, there are TONS of actions you can take to help yourself. All can be guided by self-help books, self-help information on websites, and so forth. And if it's time for you to get a professional to help you through this, you can go to and search their list of specialists in your area. We really know how to treat panic attacks now, we can share it in a self-help format, and I can say that nothing you listed as symptoms sounds very surprising if you are anxious.
