    Has anyone tried lysine - it is an amino acid but have been hearing and reading that it is really good for anxiety. I think I'll do a search on Web MD to see what they say about it.

    One can always ask their doctor or pharmacist about it - who knows - it may help the anxious.

    Not sure if there was much of an effect but I've had lysine complex before and it's done some good. Something I have found to be helpful is L-theanine, which is found in matcha (a powdered form of green tea) but in much lower strengths in normal green tea. It provides a gentle sense of well being for me without being sleepy or jittery. Matcha is expensive, if you can get yamamotoyama brand powdered iced green tea it will work similarly.
