Dizzy fuzzy head

For the last several weeks I've been experiencing a strange feeling in my head. It hits at no particular time or during any certain activity. Tilting, bending, side to side, walking or sitting. The best way I can describe it is by saying it feels like an alka seltzer fizz. It begins at my neck at the base of my head and goes up and over into my eyes. I also feel and hear it in my ears. If I'm walking when it happens, I become extremely off balance to the point of staggering and sometimes needing to hold onto something to keep me from falling. It seems to be happening more often within minutes between each episode but then I might go hours before it comes on again. It's very disturbing to say the least and I'm really beginning to worry something may be wrong.

Hey An_258442-
It sounds like you need to be checked out by your personal physician. She can decide whether you need to see a specialist for this off-balanced feeling. There is no reason to be deciding that this is an anxiety problem until you've ruled out any physical problem. Let us know if the medical folks suggest that this is anxiety, and we can try to help.
