Anxiety in children who have suffered trauma
    An_189971 posted:
My 10 year old nephew has suffered alot of trauma this year, first he lost his dad. He was having anxiety at school and would not enter the school or rage inside the school. When he did start going in and trying to overcome his anxiety there was a shooting at the school next door where his older sister attends. He was on lockdown for an hour after school. Then during summer vacation his mom decided to move to another state and leave him with my husband and I. So here we are with a child suffering great anxiety, and now school upon us. So we are going in for another appointment to look into medication. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on anxiety meds and kids. Thank you for your help.
