Asthma and a cough

On june twenty eighth i was told that i was a moderate asthmaic,my question to you is that i developed a nagging cough that i cant seem to shake,.any ideas why and how i can correct this problem and also why do you thing i have it. The cough seems to be the worse when i am outside,and at night.

There are many possible causes to cough including acid reflux from the stomach, nasal congestion with post nasal drip and even asthma can cause cough. Do you have any nasal symptoms or heartburn? Does the rescue inhaler for asthma help? You can try a nasal rinse kit to decrease post nasal drip. If the cough worsens, you should contact your doctor who knows your history for treatment recommendations.
