Suspected asthma and sinus infections

Would removing adenoids help my 5 year old son who has recurrent sinus infections and asthma (we think that's what it is but the doctor has not confirmed - lung function test was low)? How could we determine if this would help. If not, do we have other options?

Thanks for your help!

Have your son be evaluated by an allergist, if you haven't already. An allergist would be able to pinpoint the reason for the recurrent sinus infections and more accurately diagnose asthma. If this were me, surgery for my son would be a last resort. Hope this helps. Take care & good luck. Judy
