Asthma and baby
Happymumm posted:
Hi everyone! I have 2 small children, both needing nebulizer treatments early on. My daughter was fine with her mask and held it herself. My 15 month old son freaks over it now and refuses it 3/4 of the time. He has the wheezing and bronhcial problems the worst of the two. He is happy sitting without the mask and just shoving the nozzle in his mouth. Anyone have experience with this and know if this is dangerous? I have a call into our ped and waiting for a call back but I would like to here from experienced moms and dads please

I'm not a mother or father, but as no one else has replied, I'm letting you know of my experience with adult onset asthma.

They have an extension that goes onto the nebulizer cup with a one way air valve. It is not a mask. Maybe the extension would work better for your son.
