I didnt have asthma as a child or just dont remember. But as an adult I have battled with asthma constantly. Its seems that everything triggers my symptoms from the cold air, exercise, laughing hard, sleeping at night and just sitting calmly. I use my inhaler about 10 to 15 times a day and cant get it under control. Is there anything I can do to get this under control? It has affected my ever day life. Please help!
coughy16 responded:
What meds are you on for your asthma? I am guessing you are using albuterol or other rescue 10 times a day? If thats the case you should see your dr, if you aren't on a controller medication, you may need one, if you are on one you made need to try a higher dose or a different med to get things under control.
stow1972 replied to coughy16's response:
yes i am on albuterol and was on simbicort but that didn't seem to keep symptoms at bay very long. thinks for the reply sounds like that's what i need to do is have my dosage upped.
christgirl1963 responded:
or try a different medicine. symbocort didn't help me. I am now on flovent and spariva. are those the only things that trigger your asthma? don't feel alone. those things trigger my asthma too. I have to sleep elevated. GOD BLESS
