Nicki - 34 wks

This week has been very interesting...esp. last night. After having contractions for the past week last night they were worse. I was laying in bed and they just kept coming. I was almost to the point to call my Mother so that we could go to L&D when they just stopped. Soooo, if they start again, I'm just going. I want them to check and see how far along I am since my OB's do not want to.

My goals for this week is a little different. I really know LO needs to stay in my tummy for another couple of weeks...so trying to stay off my feet as much as possible. Also my goal for today is post pics on my blog of Madi's bedroom. It's done EXCEPT for a couple of wall decals that I "guess" are never coming (they were free from a friend). It looks great w/out them though. I'll post when the pics are up.

Hugs to all!!!

Feeling pretty good this week! Record high temp yesterday of 106, so I'm stayin indoors for the most part! Still working out and working on the nursery!

Goals for this week are to finish hanging decorations in the nursery and start washing Alexander's clothes. I got all the blankets, towels, and sheets washed last night. We had a big shower over the weekend, so bedding is washed and in the room. Everything is falling into place. I also started packing my hospital bag! How fast time is flying!

Have a great week!

I'm feeling okay... I have been really tired lately. My energy is just gone. As much as I love being pregnant and am grateful to be pregnant (praise the Lord), I am ready to have my own body back. I'm tired of the horrible ECP and my hips hurting constantly

My goals are to just take it easy as much as possible and to start packing the hossy bag. I'm still concerned about my BP being high at my last appointment. DH has promised to have the crib set up by the weekend. Then I can finally wash the bedding and start getting the nursery ready.

On a side note, I have a busy weekend coming up. Friday is my next OB appt. She's supposed to check me and go over what to do when I go into labor. (It's getting so close!) Saturday we have our birthing class and a wedding to go to, and Sunday is my baby shower for my side of the family.

I hope that all of you ladies are doing well. (((Big hugs)))
Taryn(22), DH (29). PCOS and MFIF. Expecting our first bundle of joy after trying for 13 months! EDD 8/08/2010. HR on 6/29, 159 BPM. Pink team!

Wow ladies, sounds like you are all hanging in there!

Emily- sounds like you are staying on top of things and getting ready for your little guy! Stay cool, I have heard of the heat warnings where you live Emily, be careful!!!!!

Taryn-You have a busy weekend ahead of you, but sounds like fun! Hang in there, not much longer till your little girl is here.

Nicki- sounds like a good goal to take it easy with the contractions, yikes, Maddi needs a little more time, but soon it will be done!

I have been doing weekly BPP's and NST's(2 times a week). All has been going very well and we are both passing so far. I am starting to get tired, but trying to fight it since I am not sleeping well at all in the last 2 months. I too am still exercising, but I am noticing more "contractions/cramps" when I do it. I have my 34 week appointment tomorrow and will address this with the OB. I don't want to stop, but i have to do what is best. PLus, I get so tired the rest of the day, it just is wearing me out more.

Goals, I would like to go and buy bottles and the swing that we need. The swing we used with our daughter was broken by my sisters kids when they used it, so we have to buy a new one (GRRR!!!) We also need to get bottles, since with our first they were not BPA free. I also need to pack a hospital bag, and a bag for our daughter for whereever she ends up sleeping. Hoping to do that in the next week here, you just never know when it will be time to go.

Stay cool ladies and hope you are all doing well! So excited to be in the final stretch!

Take care,
Ang

Rhonda - 35 and change...the doc's office changed my EDD without telling me so I have no idea what my EDD is anymore - LOL!

I'm ok...spent Monday night in L&D due to a gush of sweet-smelling "stuff" that SOAKED my liner...they did the swab test (I HONESTLY do NOT think she swabbed the correct area b/c it hurt so bad...and I couldn't pee afterwards). The swab came back neg and I haven't had anymore gushes, so I guess I'm good... It was nice to listen to his heartbeat for several hours!!! Noticing more BHC and regular contractions, but have had 2-3 blackout spells this week (tunnel vision, hearing loss, difficulty breathing and DRENCHED with sweat)...gonna have the doc diagnose that tomorrow...I must admit that after yesterday's blackout spell and upset stomach, I was one of those "bad" people who wished I could go ahead and have him...but I'm still WAAAAAY too scared that it's too early - although doc says he'll be fine...

Bag is packed, clothes are washed, camera battery is charged, sheets are on the PNP/bassinet and crib. Mom finished the bedding yesterday...Nursery just needs some decals on the walls and we're DONE! We have the carseat in the car and the extra base is sitting in my kitchen because I'm waiting on DH to clean out the van...Pics of DD and the nursery are on my blog, but DD's pics aren't updated - they are on Facebook though...

Goals for this week -
Rest up - While I'm HOPING that Alex stays in for a little while longer, I'm afraid that he won't...
Relish EVERY moment I have left, because this is MOST LIKELY my last pregnancy...
Cuddle as much as possible with DD because it won't be just the 3 of us much longer!!!
Be as friendly as possible to the people at DH's family reunion and at church who keep making remarks about how big I am...but what do you expect when I'm 9 FREAKING MONTHS pregnant?!?!?! But I'll try to smile and be nice!!

Hang in there, ladies!!! Not much longer!

Well last nigh the BF and I DTD and I was fine until I rolled onto my left side then I started having contractions...They went on for 2 and a half hours. Of course I couldn't reach my doc so I called L&D and the nurse just told me to rest and drink water and see if the kept coming or if they became regular when I called they were varying between 7 and 2 minutes apart. SO of course once I'm off the phone and decide to lay down they stop.

Teresa - Well it's Friday and I'm 34wks today.

Sorry I haven't been here all week. So much "stuff" going on that is stressing me out...some out of my control for the time being. But the most immediate issue is my DS who has been sick since Monday. He couldn't eat or drink anything without it coming right back out. Tuesday was a little better for him, but he is still not drinking a lot of fluids and I've noticed a decrease in urine. Yesterday I weighed him and he has lost 3lbs. Then Wednesday, I had the same issues, except I would force my self to drink fluids. Anyways, I seem to be doing ok right now.

Baby is doing great. I've noticed a lot more movement. Some freaky, like a knee or an elbow poking out, and some way up high where I can hardly breath or way low below my hair line...I didn't know she could be that low.

I have no goals for this week other than to rest. I have a busy week next week...going to my 34wk appt, taking DS to his 2yr well visit, and having a big bday party for him next weekend. So this weekend I plan to rest and regain all my energy.

Ladies take it easy, and I pray you all have a wondeful weekend.
