First off, if I didn't really trust my Peri I wouldn't see him......doesn't mean I don't have to "like" what he says though. Oh AND I'm all about keeping LO in my tummy for as long as possible.

BUT, my Peri is such a crackhead.........I had an appt yesterday and Madi Grace is doing great. Passed BPP w/flying colors and she is weighing in at 6lbs 6oz (THANK YOU LORD). I told him that the OB said that IF I haven't went into labor in the next 2 wks he was going to induce. The Peri said that IF the OB tries to induce me before 38wks 4 days he is going to require an amnio to check lung function. IS THAT NOT WHY I AM HAVING TWICE WEEKLY APPTS??? I mean I can understand if I was like 33-36 wks, but 37 wks and 4 days (I think) shouldn't be a prob. I was induced w/DS at 36 and 38 for DD. I'm not going to "chance" having an amnio this late. I think it is NOT needed.

I'm just sooooo over it. I just wished they would both get together and decide. UGH....lol. (I can laugh at myself...lol).

I can't imagine why they would want to do an amnio that late. 37 is technically full term, so I would hesitate to want to do that. What a great weight for Maddie Grace. Even if it is off, that is a great range!!! I would see what the OB has to say. Good luck and keep us updated!!! Again, so happy Madi is doing so well.

Hey Meggie. I agree 100% that it is wayyy too late for an amnio. I think he is trying to scare me out of letting my OB induce earlier. I just wish they would "get on the same page"..lol.

Hopefully Charlie slept better this weekend. Let me know how it goes!!!

Do the OB and peri communicate at all about things? You must be getting sooo excited for Madi's appearance. Sooo exciting!!

I started Charlie on formula at night and life is good. Last night was the 2nd night in a row Charlie had a "schedule" . . . She goes down at 9:30pm and gets up at 12, 3, 5, then at 7 both girls seems to wind up waking up. She is up for an hour each time to get down 2oz. We try to get her to eat at least that much, because they want her to gain weight. She atleast hit 6lb11oz.

Anyway, I hope all goes well . . . Keep updating . . . These babies are all getting so close, it is so exciting!

The OB and peri NEVER communicate except through me or office records (their on the same electronic rec). It just gets old for each of them to ask what the other says. I am getting super excited and a little scared (I know what to expect..lol and the unknown scares the heck out of me...lol).

I was wondering if you were BF or not. I plan not to, because of having to take care of a toddler, PLUS it never works out for me. We are formula ALL THE WAY....lol. Hopefully Charlie will start gaining weight. Glad she is doing better.

Tons of hugs.....I can't wait!!!

Aww... I'm sorry they can't get on the same page. I can't imagine how frustrating that would be. I agree with Meggie... I think that is way too late for an amnio. Especially since full term is 37 weeks. I hope that your docs can get it together and figure out what will work for you.

Big hugs!

Nicki, that sounds a little over the top! I agree, being she is passing her tests is a great sign that her lungs are there. Plus, girls lungs develp sooner than boys, so I would not worry. I stopped going to the Peri and my OB just took over. Plus, my Peri screwed up on the fluid issues, which caused me more concern than needed.

I have my next BPP on Thursday, but my doc already said if things happen we will let it fly. I hope I can hold out another week or 2. I would talk to your OB and see if she can talk to the Peri, it just seems like an unecessary procedure and risk at this stage in the game......

Keep us posted!
