Sorry it took so long?WiFi went down on the hossy floor I was staying on.
Short Version - Madison Grace arrived on 8/1 weighing in at 8lbs 8oz (could you imagine if I went two more weeks) and 20 inches. She has the most beautiful head of hair I have ever seen (and several of the nurses concur). It's black w/blond highlights on the end and it curls. Beautiful eyes. 8/9 Apgar score.
Long Version - I arrived at the hossy at 7:00 am Sunday morn. Was hooked up to the petocin and IV by 9:00 am. I got the Epi at 11:30 am and they broke my water at 12:00pm. They thought they heard an arrhythmia (extra heart beat) on the monitor for LO, so they were going to call the Repertory team in when she was delivered. They assured me that she would be okay. I stalled at 4 cms until 4:00 pm. I was so upset. It seemed to not be going anywhere..no contrax or anything. So the nurse had me start laying on each side for 15 minutes each. No joke in 45 minutes I was at 8cm. The nurse said she would be back in an hour and no longer had she walked out the door?.I started screaming that I had to push. Sure enough the nurse came back in and I was at 10cm and baby's head was crowning. It took about 15 pushes and she was out. Lots of pressure no pain (thank you God for epi's that work). Just beautiful. No tears for me and I was up walking within 30 minutes.
Big brother just loves her, big sister however could care less?.she just like the hossy crushed ice?.lol. We are formula feeding and my little porker has already taken 2 ounces at one feeding. My family is complete!!!
Wishing you all lots of healthy delivery vibes!!!!!
