August 2010 Babies

For all babies born in August 2010 or Mother's who were due in 2010.

Wow... well.. here is the long an short of it all... Dr deceided to induce at 5 on Friday.. went to the hospital an got all hooked up with my antiobitotics ... at about 10 pm they started the pitocin... an I had my epidural--yes i deceided to do the epi this time.. so the epi went in at about 1 am... had nice steady contractions for what seemed like forever but at 11 am Dr came in an broke my water and then it was on... I hadnt realized that the Dr had them turn the epi meds down so --- this is how it went... from feelin the pressure an I was like oh thats a good contraction to holy crap --- this baby is right there... grandma went to get the nurse an they checked me an she was right there... when the nurse checked me poor Lew came flying down and was literaly pushing on the nurses hand.. so they call the DR in and bing bang boom.... she was there in 3 pushes.. I really didnt want to feel it this time but it was alright.. i managed an the epi made the nght easy...
Lew arrived at 12;23 pm weighing in at 8 lbs 6 oz.. 20 1/2 inches long... she is beautiful.. she does have some brusing in her face due to the fact that she came down so fast an so hard but the Dr said it will go away within a day or 2...
she is so active an trys to lift her little peanut head an her favorite thing in the world right now is her thumb..... an if she cant find it she keeps real huffy real fast..
we love her she is just perfect....
