Hey Ladies, sorry I haven't been posting lately. My "head" is in a weird place (if that makes since). Some of it I understand, but some I don't. Just a little update, we've been in the doctors office several times a week, EVER WEEK, since Madi Grace has been born. There has just been one thing after another. She has had several x-rays, stool cultures, bloodwork, trying to figure out what is going w/her. As of now, everything is negative (PRAISE THE LORD) and she is doing great!!! BUT, it has all really affected me. I constantly worry about her AND I know better than anyone that worrying will get me NO where. I just can't seem to stop. I have an appt. w/the OB next week to discuss my anxiety. I just really hate feeling this way.

Also, DH is getting a vesectomy next Friday. Because of our infertility problems, for some reason, I am having a hard time w/this. I understand he doesn't want anymore children and at this point, neither do I, but I'm just not dealing well with this decision. Why am I feeling this way???? We are arguing over it. UGH.......

Praying everyone is doing great!!

Nicki,
Carting a newborn back and forth to the doctors for tests all the time is stressful and the worry over her is normal. I worry about Bianka and she's a healthy little wiggle worm.

As for you DH's procedure, I understand that too. Although you have both decided that you don't want anymore children the idea of not having anymore is kind of depressing especially when you have had a hard time getting pregnant.

Just try to relax, I was one of those lucky women that had no form of the baby blues or PPD but I can see why some women have those issues. Remember that the choice on the vasectomy is both of your decision. Considering that you are having such a hard time with it at the moment see if your DH wouldn't postpone it for a month or so just so that you can find out if your going through PPD and get the guidance you would need.

Best of luck to you

Nicki,

I'm so sorry you are going through this!! I truly understand what it is like trying to figure out what is wrong with your baby and the worry that goes along with it. Logically it does no good to worry, but we are mothers and if our children have a problem, we are going to worry!!

Also, I can definitely understand being upset about the vasectomy. Even if you are sure at the moment that you don't want more, it is so final. I can't imagine ever saying I'm completely done . . . I would think it is the finality of the decision. Especially when you just had a baby . . . It's hard to imagine this will be the last time with a little one (just projecting what I would be feeling). Anyway, I hope you are feeling better. You are in my thoughts!!
