I HAVE A 2 1/2 YEAR OLD AUTISTIC SON THAT DOESN'T SPEAK, HE HAS BEEN IN SPEECH THERAPY FOR ALMOST A YEAR WITH VERY LITTLE PROGRESS. HE IS UNDERSTANDING A LITTLE MORE BUT STILL IS NOT SPEAKING. IS THIS TYPICAL FOR A CHILD WITH AUTISM OR SHOULD I TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT?

My son is the same way. I am trying a different therapist because my son never formed a bond with the one he had.
