    Neck Pain

I am asking this question for my friend. We try to walk 3-4 times a week for two hours each time. Everytime we walk we walk a different way and we pick up cans along the way. Usually we come back with 1-2 normal shopping bags full. Within the last year I now carry the bags as she is the one picking them up. Lately if my friend were to carry the bags as well as me or like Sunday when she laid 100 bags of mulch throughout her landscaping and will be laying more. The next day she says she can barely turn her neck like if she looking at something or someone to the left or right of her using her neck.

Any ideas on why this happens to her or what the issue could be? Any ideas on how to correct or prevent this problem?
