My doctor i am seeing for my lumbar has given me many shots. None have helped my pain, He has me on Fentanyl 50 mcg every two days and this does not take my break through pain away. I feel like I am a bother to him when I ask for something more. Is there anyone else going through this with their doctor? I have a high tolerance to these types of med's ~ Please advise how to handle this problem thank you

boy can I relate. In 1 year I had 12 steroid shots and had the nerves burned. I'm still on soma 350mg, naproxen500mg, gabapentin 300mg,norco 10-325mg &ms contin 15mg. I keep asking for my Dr to change my meds, but he doesn't seem to listen. My nerve pain is so bad, that most nights I don't sleep. I actually broke my foot and didnt even know it cause of all the pain meds, ontop of the nueropothy in my legs and feet. Sometimes I feel alone in this misery, as I call it. its nice to know we are not alone.
