Hello and welcome.

This would be something you need to discuss with your primary doctor. It sounds like your best course of action would be to get an appointment asap.

After you have a diagnosis, come back and update us and ask questions.

I pray you can get treatment and relief soon.

I've been sitting on this as my opinion is slightly different than Dave's and I don't like to disagree with the good people of this board, but I am caving in.

Do you have a trainer?
Performing such a strenuous lift is not without risk, but I would think the risk would be primarily to the muscles, then associated soft tissues.

If there's a good trainer where you're lifting he/she may be a good first line of defense/assesment for you?

If not a trainer than I would suggest a physical therapist to assess your injury.

Next on the list would be an orthopedic MD.

May I ask what you're lifting for? Are you trying for a personal best or is there more on the table? I'm just curious.

Best of luck to you you whatever the case.

I think either would work, trainer or doctor. Be careful lifting that much though! I could probably only bench press 20 pounds
Trying to figure things out!
