I have been told I have degenerative disk disease and have been going to a chiropractor for some time now. Soem times I get better and some times it comes back and takes logger to treat. I do exercises like they tell me. Tired ofpaying the chiropractor , its th elower part of my back and one time my hips had shifted some how, the chiropractor seems to have worked that out. But now still have some pian and stiffness. I had went to a healthy back store and looked at one of those enversion tables and one lady she is 71 said ot worked for her. Has any one else tried this and it worked for them before I invest in something like this. Also what other things can I do to treat my condition.I also now have issue with blood presure I checked it today

Hello.

You really need to be evaluated by your doctor for your high blood pressure. Chronic pain can cause blood pressure to rise, but so can many other factors. The bottom line is to discuss this with your doctor and be open to any treatments, including medication along with proper diet, exercise and reducing your intake of salt. High blood pressure can be very dangerous, even fatal, if untreated.

hi and welcome -

as Dave stated you need to be evaluated by your doctor for the high blood pressure - this is something that shouldn't be ignored -

also in regards to your back problems, you should be examined by a spine specialist - either Orthopedic Spine Specialist or Neurosurgeon Spine Specialist - they are the only ones that can read film results (MRI, CT Scans etc) and will let you know the best treatment options.

Please keep us posted what you find out - take care - Joy

I agree with the others...
How much pain are you in (or were you in) when you took you BP? As we've discussed here and I am well aware of firsthand, pain can rocket your BP. It's one of the body's first reactions to pain and anxiety. The three are a triple threat!

So this leads right back to where Dave and Joy pointed you. MD.
