L4/L5/S1 fusion with entry from the back. From day one after the surgery I have had nothing but problems with increased pain and nerve issues. This surgery was completed in 2005 with Kaiser in So. Ca., how do I find out if the Medtronic Infuse Bone Graft was used? I do know that they did NOT extract any bone from my body; i.e. hip. I had a MRI done last year and their is large amounts of bone growth in the area with nerves being pinched at the L4/L5 nerve root and one of the nerves is way too close to one of the screws. I have frequent moments of sharp/burning pain that drops me to my knees. I wore a exterior stimulator for approx. 6 months after the surgery for four hours a day. I can not get any help from Kaiser and need to figure out how I get more information; PLEASE HELP.
