I am having trouble falling a lot lately. have had several surgeries, and the last MRI showed a new buldge and stenosis around an area that has been worked on before(partial discectomy).this is a new developement is it time again?I hate surgery.

No one likes to have surgery and it should always be your last resort.

You need to discuss all your treatment options with your doctor. Also, make sure you are seeing a spine specialist who can accurately diagnose your condition(s) and recommend an effective treatment plan. Get opinions from several spine specialist and try various treatments before having surgery. Research your condition(s) and treatments on line and education yourself.

I hope you can get effective treatment and find relief soon.

I would like to speak to the statement you made about falling a lot. I have had the misfortune of falling several times which caused some very bad problems.

Please be advised that each fall causes problems to develop.
Back discs are of often worn down from degenerative disc desease, as well as other things. Some bulging is likely as we age.

I think I have a balance problem. Have you thought of that? Maybe some of the medication you are taking? I do believe everyone will tell you to try everything before you consent to another back surgery.
