The sharp pain in my back on the left and right sides under ribcage started when i was 11 and im now 16. They come a little more frequent then seldomly. And the random little sharp pains in the same spot on the left side have started 3 days ago & have been coming randomly for the last few days. Also it will twitch or feel as if somethings moving.

Hello, Danielle and welcome. I am sorry to read of your pain and fully understand.

Please read through this Tip that is at the top of this WebMD Back Pain Community:

We are lay people and diagnosing or providing any type of medical advice is both impossible and against the rules in all WebMD communities. The Tip lists the recommended steps for getting back pain diagnosed and treated. You will need to start with your primary doctor and then see a spine specialist. You may need to have a CT scan or MRI done.

Please see your doctor and keep us updated.

I pray you can get answers and relief soon.

Definitely agree on seeing your doctor, the only way you'll know for sure. As you are a little younger than myself, have you thought about your bed and your shoes? I used to share a bedroom with my brother and I slept on a spring mattress that was older than me! I didnt realise but I never slept that well which used to put strain on my back. Maybe research a topper or something thats a little more supportive?
