long story, I was paralyzed last year in quad accident, back broke @ t-12, broke 10 ribs, had titatium installed, broke leg at knee.. this is the problem. Had hardware put into the knee when broke in accident. 3 weeks ago I bumped my leg in my wheel chair and infection set in, went to ER, dr. did surgery next day, infection worst he has seen, took hardward out cleaned out knee, the knee had infection in the bone where screws were, No one told me to have this hardware removed or even looked at. I have enough to deal with at 68 years of age adjusting to being paralyzed. Now my system has MRSA, the knee has a hugh cavity whick does not look good I am on strong antibotic infusions, and could still lose my leg... Does anyone thin this is ground for a law suite? Infection could spread through body via blood stream, heart valve, This is far from over. still very sick.

Hello.

Your best course of action would be to contact a personal injury attorney. Many offer free initial consultations and will be able to tell you if you have a case that could be won.

Good luck.
