    So tired of pain

It seems I've been everywhere. I'm in so much pain that I don't want to wake up in the morning, that is if I get to go to sleep. I've had to back surgeries. I have lupus, neuropathy, and several other things. I'm in pain constantly. How do you get through your life in this much pain. Nobody should have to.the pain just gets to be too much. Any ideas are welcome but, I can't see chiropractors because I have two cages in my back and have been told to stay away from them.

HI IDA507 - welcome to the support group -

Misconception on chiropractors - I have hardware in my back and I see a chiropractor - you just need to make sure they are aware of this by bringing in your MIR/CT Scans etc so they can see where it's at. They will know not to do any treatments that involve stretching etc.

The best thing is to have you see a PHYSIATRIST Pain Management Specialist - they go deeper into pain management control based on patients needs.

they have a wider based knowledge and should be able to help you.

We all suffer from some form of chronic pains and the most we can do is educate ourselves. do as much research on the internet as you can and find out if there are new treatments available.

If you live in a big city, usually the big University Hospitals offer good source of treatments etc.

I hope this helps - please keep us posted what you find out~~
