    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

So that I can get ready for my surgery on Wednesday. My recovery will be a long one so I do not know when I will get back here to update.

As a pre-caution my surgeon will let me wear my hard neck brace during surgery mainly because I have no hardware or any covering over in 7 vertebrae fusion.

I will be praying for things to work out for Tim's situation, Joy's upcoming surgery, and any other one that is mentioned here today on this post.

So Dave, Diane and the others that I talk to please let me know what I can pray for while I'm gone, blessings Deb

Deb, I will be praying for you.

My biggest concern is my wife. Her pain management specialist has now clearly documented that she is 100% disabled and unable to ever work again at what she did, which was retail management. She is 75% disabled for any job and could only work a part-time sedentary job with restrictions. Her WC attorney also handles SSD and they have applied for her. WC has stopped requesting hearings and we think they are getting ready to settle, which would be good. So, we know God will make a way with that.

Thanks for praying for all of us. You are an inspiration and a blessing. Looking forward to an update from you when you can.

Dave I am sorry to hear about your wife and her disability. I have written down the needs and will be praying. One good thing about this discussion board is the people actually care for one another.

The diabetes with the exception of 3 they don't really care about the people. I will not be going back there when I come back. I am glad that you came back here.

Take care and God Bless this board and the friends on it, Deb
    davedsel replied to Debsbears's response:
I agree about the diabetes community. I've posted there recently, but there is no real sense of community, no friendships any longer. Almost all the old faithfuls no longer post or rarely post.

This is by far my favorite community.

    God bless you as well.
